There were so many films to choose from the 1st go-round, I had a legion of backups. Here is another totally alternate, secondary take on my Cinematic Alphabet. It's really the kind of list that could change almost daily. I have a good deal of affection for all these movies. Some are certainly better than others, but there are several here that I feel are rather unjustly obscure.

B is for THE 'BURBS.

F is for FREEBIE AND THE BEAN.

Random shot from GRIZZLY, which almost made the list:

HICKEY & BOGGS, another alt pick.

And... THEM!

I'm totally with you, especially on Island of Lost Souls, Pretty Poison, & Targets. All so good!
I've wanted to see Midnight Madness & Shack Out on 101 since learning of their respective existences. Hopefully they live up to their awesome premises.
Deadly Eyes looks great - I'll have to add that to my list of to-dos. :)
Interesting choices....
The Burbs was a welcome inclusion.
I love a ton of these! Targets, Emperor of the North, Journey to the Far Side of the Sun,The freakin' Burbs!...all fantastic!
Whoa! Borgnine bringin' the FUNK!
Also, "The Quiet Earth" is such an underrated flick! I haven't seen it since I was a kid though, but it blew me away then.
The Quiet Earth would have been my Q. Good Call. Now you've got to do this for foreign movies :)
Great and uniquely personal choices, especially like the shout outs for The Burbs and Ulzanna's Raid. I finally got a gray market dvd of The Gravy Train/Dion Brothers...can't wait to finally see it.
I did my own Cinematic Alphabet at my blog here, check it out:

Andrew-THE BURBS is my favorite Dante film. Just love the heck out of it! And have told him so in person!
MIKE-Thank you sir! I need to buy JOURNEY, don't currently own on dvd...
DAVE & JOEY-Cool to see the QUIET EARTH love, definitely does not get enough press!
JOEY-I'll try to scrape together a foreign film alphabet at some point for sure!
COLONEL-Loved your alphabet sir! I've included it on a future compilation post of alphabets done recently, great stuff! DUEL, CALIFORNIA SPLIT and others I almost included!
