Plenty of memorable stuff here on both the high and low class end of things. Another quite remarkable year all told. Jerry Lewis and Hitchcock both operating at the height of their powers. Then you've got your directors from overseas putting out some masterpieces as well. You've also got arguably the best Bond movie, the best Steve McQueen movie, the best haunted house movie, and the best Harryhausen movie. Add to that, LOVE WITH THE PROPER STRANGER, which is a favorite of mine(sadly not on dvd). One question I ask though is how can Disney's THE INCREDIBLE JOURNEY(a staple for me as a kid) have never been released on dvd in the U.S? I remember watching that film endlessly as a kid. It still holds up too. My kids absolutely enjoyed it.

Love Jason and the Argonauts. Just watched Johnny Cool earlier this year, not the best gangster movie, but wasn't bad. HATE The Birds. Really, The Increadible Journy isn't on DVD? My mother must have it on VHS because I know my kids have seen it.
Robert-all I can find is aregion2 import dvd of THE INCREDIBLE JOURNEY. I know we had it on VHS as kids.
Robert: Sacrilege! You can't drop a bombshell like:"I Hate The BIRDS!", and run!
Back that up with an explanation Sir?! I don't know how anyone can hate The Birds? One of Hitchcock's innovative masterpieces.
Innovative? How about boring and pointless. There's no sense of dread, no suspense, no story... The Birds isn't innovative, it's just bizarre.
