1996 was insane.

Tromeo and Juliet (1996)
Directed by Lloyd Kaufman

My absolute favorite adaptation of Shakespeare's work.

Girls Town (1996)
Directed by Jim McKay

Really wonderful revenge film about a group of high school girls trying to find out why their close friend killed herself.

Trees Lounge (1996)
Directed by Steve Buscemi

Watch Steve Buscemi play a self-hating creep with an ice cream truck!

Curdled (1996)
Directed by Reb Braddock

So much fake blood. Starring Angela Jones and William "Billy" Baldwin.

Starlight (1996)
Directed by Jonathan Kay

I have only seen this film once by way of copied vhs but Willie Nelson shoots laser beams from his eyes and Rae Dawn Chong plays a sexy alien and it is glorious.

Kissed (1996)
Directed by Lynne Stopkewich

This was the only film about necrophilia I had ever seen prior to viewing Nekromantic and boy was it different.
